[dropcap]M[/dropcap]arshall Bruce Mathers III renowned as Eminem by his stage name. He is a popular rapper, record producer, actor, and songwriter. Marshall was born on 17th October, 1972 in St. Joseph, Missouri, United States. The Rolling stone magazine gave him the title, The King of Hip Hop and ranked on 82nd place in the list of, “The 100 Greatest Artists of All Time”. Eminem was one of the biggest fans for rap, spent most of his time in rapping, perhaps, at the age of four. His albums and singles sold were more than 155 million, which made Marshall to enjoy the credit of world’s best-selling artists of all time.

When Marshall Bruce Mathers turned 14, he was very much keen about rapping, and at the age of seventeen; he named himself M&M, that later respelled as Eminem. Marshall has struggled a lot to achieve a place in rap, where most of rappers rejected him for his race. At ninth grade, after failing three times, Marshall decided to quit school. He started to work fully on rap game and the sale for his first album “Infinite” in the year 1996, was initially very low, but geared up the rapper to the stage of millionaire. He was also awarded Grammy Award for Best Rap Album for his second album “The Slim Shady LP” during the year 1999.

Eminem is a successful person who received U.S Diamond certification for the sale of famous albums. He released Marshal’s Relapse in 2009 and Recovery in 2010, which were internationally named as best-selling albums of 2010. Marshall owns a record company called Shady Records, and Own fashion line Shady Limited. He also appeared in movies like “Funny People” in the year 2009, “The Interview” in 2014. Eminem’s famous film song “Lose Yourself” won Academy Award for the Best Original Song and it is heard by global audience.
